I have been connected to the towns of southern Connecticut my entire life. I grew up in New Canaan, and have worked in Darien and Fairfield. I passionately cover this region that has been my home for 30 years, taking every opportunity to deliver the news that matters to everyone else that loves this place as much as I do.

What was your first job as a journalist?

I'm still doing it. Reporter for the Darien Times. My first story was a public hearing about the Board of Education budget.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Never. I suppose that makes me feel a bit younger though.

How is social media changing news?

Social media is a way for people to decide how they get their news. They can follow the outlets they like, and they can interact with them.
