The Forbidden Forest will become a full theme park land for the first time as part of a massive Harry Potter expansion coming to Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi. Miral and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences announced three Harry Potter-themed lands for the indoor Yas Island park on Sept. 7. The expansion will include the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley and Hogwarts, along with world-exclusive rides designed specifically for Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.

(Altamonte Springs, Fla.) Being locked inside a box and sent down an 85-foot track into complete darkness would probably be frightening enough. A Petrified Forest is adding another layer. The independently operated Halloween haunt in Altamonte Springs is introducing “Psychosis,” an immersive experience built around therapy, trauma and manifestations of the mind.

Saturday morning cartoons are about to get a lot scarier in Central Florida. A Petrified Forest in Altamonte Springs is building three new scare trails for its 2026 Halloween season, but only one depicts childhood cartoon characters in a terrifying format. ‘Drawn to Death’ takes familiar childhood animation and twists it into horror, sending cheerful cartoon characters out of their colorful world and into reality. The new trail is part of A Petrified Forest’s 19th season, opening Oct.
