Web Exclusive Send Help feels like a thriller that would be at home on cable in the late 1990s or early 2000s. It has elements of Misery (1990), Six Days, Seven Nights (1998), and Cast Away (2000) running through its veins, while also being injected with director Sam Raimi’s zany style. The things that really hold it together, even as it becomes increasingly uneven, are the performances by Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien.
