Kannapolis (NC) A.L. Brown right-handed pitcher and NC State commit C.J. Gray has been drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the fifth round, 140th overall, in the 2025 MLB Draft. After a successful season with the Wonders and a trip to Chase Field in Arizona for the MLB Combine, Gray spoke with Inside Pack Sports about his journey leading up to the draft. He's ranked as the No. 178 prospect in this year's draft class.

MLB DRAFT: Wolfpack SS Commit Aidan West Selected By Dodgers

Ellicott City (MD) Long Reach HS shortstop and NC State commit Aidan West has been drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the fourth round, 135th overall, in the 2025 MLB Draft. According to MaxPreps, West led the Lightning with a .591 batting average, .667 on-base percentage, and nine stolen bases to go along with two home runs and 11 runs batted in for the season. Long Reach finished the year 16-5, 11-4 in region play. MLB has West ranked the No. 123rd prospect in the draft class.
