Today is dry, but Mother’s Day will feature showers and storms. Mother’s Day showers and storms move in late afternoon and continue into Monday morning. The good news is these storms should not be severe as we have been taken out of the risk.

Cooler temps to end the week

(WKRN) — Tonight, there could be a few showers along the TN/AL state line. Otherwise, the clouds move out, and temps drop into the 40s. The rest of the workweek will be cooler and drier. Morning temperatures in the 40s and highs in the upper 60s and low 70s, even with sunshine! It looks like we could see some rain Friday, midday (mostly north of I-40, 20% chance), and again Saturday afternoon, north and west of Nashville. The rest of the weekend looks dry.
