KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — ABC will pay tribute to music superstar and East Tennessee native Dolly Parton on Tuesday with a special edition of 20/20. Dolly Parton: An American Original will air at 10 p.m. on ABC and be available to stream on Hulu and Disney Plus on Wednesday. The hour-long special will feature moments from her many interviews with the national broadcaster over the years. She died Tuesday at her Nashville home. She was 80 years old.

The bronze sculpture of a young Parton holding her guitar was created by artist Jim Gray and dedicated in 1987 at 125 Court Ave. Since then, thousands of people visit the landmark on the lawn of the Sevier County Courthouse each year.

The National Hurricane Center released its names for the hurricane season well in advance.
