The I-5 Rose Quarter Project will move forward, despite the loss of significant funding from the federal government. But it's unlikely to contain all the elements originally proposed. The Oregon Transportation Commission voted Thursday to move forward with Option 4, which previously did not exist. It was proposed by metro, the City of Portland, and the Albina Vision Trust.

A camp outside the ICE facility in South Portland was cleared over the weekend. A video on social media captured Portland Police and Oregon State troopers standing by as Rapid Response carried out the cleanup on Sunday. Portland Police told KATU it requested an "emergency abatement" following three nights in a row of criminal activity at the camp.

Vancouver, Wash., has a goal of producing 2,000 multi-family units a year. According to an ordinance scheduled for a public hearing next week, the city has reached only 25% of its goal, more than halfway through 2025.
