CLEVELAND — On Wednesday, we featured three families in the St. Ignatius baseball program who shared their story of how cancer has affected them. Two players on the junior varsity team lost parents while another teammate’s father is currently battling cancer. It sparked a mission called Cats for a Cure -- in the fight against cancer -- and just like always, they are doing it as a team.

CLEVELAND — A groundbreaking randomized clinical trial led by Chair of Radiation Oncology Daniel Spratt at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland has identified the first validated predictive biomarker to guide hormone therapy decisions in men with recurrent prostate cancer. “This is truly revolutionary, I mean, this is a huge deal," Spratt tells 3News. "This is changing the way we practice prostate cancer. Think of your cancer as a fingerprint.
