TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - More scattered to isolated thundershowers firing up this afternoon and evening. The pops for Tucson look better, around 30%, heavier chances to the south and southwest. Highs returning to 102. This will probably be the last ‘good day’ to get widespread rain and showers. The trend going drier. A trough from the northwest will clean us out for the weekend. Breezy and less humid with highs much the same. Minor temperature bump into early next week.

Isolated thundershowers still in the game

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Sunny start with more scattered afternoon thundershowers forming a ring south and west of Tucson. Some exhaust clouds might drift over the metro late in the afternoon and an isolated shower still in the cards. Another jolt tomorrow and tomorrow night for isolated thunderstorms around Tucson. Temps will hold just a few degrees above 100 through the week. Clearing out for the weekend, and turning off the Monsoon machine, but still very warm and dry, just over 100.

Monsoon Monday...early T-Showers

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Today is the first day of Monsoon 2026 ! And...Nature got the memo. Early morning thundershowers paid a quick visit giving way to a lull across all of Southern Arizona as we reach Noon. The midday sun will help fuel afternoon and evening thundershowers. Although models hint Tucson might be missed. Temps near 102. More of the same expected through the week. The best shots of rain for Tucson look to be Wednesday and Thursday. But isolated thundershowers are possible all week.
