The Under-the-Radar Trend That Should Have Democrats Concerned
It is always a tricky business to make generalizations based on early turnout in any election. But there is a conspicuous divergence in the Democrat voting pattern this year that may tell us something significant about the outcome of the 2026 midterms. Democrat voters are far more likely to cast mail-in ballots than are their GOP counterparts. In the 2022 midterms, for example, about 1 in 3 Democrats voted by mail compared to about 1 in 6 Republicans.
The Hidden Stakes of the Midterm Senate Battle
It should be obvious even to the meanest intelligence that the nation will be better off if the Republicans retain their majorities in both houses of Congress after the midterms. But it is particularly crucial that they retain control of the Senate. If the Democrats win control of the upper chamber, their leaders have vowed to block or refuse to hold hearings and votes for President Trump’s nominees to federal courts—including the Supreme Court.
Black Enthusiasm Gap Haunts Far Left Democrats
Original Article Posted By: gaboy, 10/19/2026 1:40:37 AM Throughout the current election cycle, the pundit class has made much of an enthusiasm gap that purportedly bedevils the Republicans. The Democrats, they tell us, are far more motivated to vote in the midterms than are their GOP counterparts. Oddly, we have heard very little about recent polls showing that the gap between extremely motivated Republicans and Democrats has narrowed considerably.

James Talarico's 12-Day Campaign Absence Deserves Scrutiny in Texas
Original Article Posted By: gaboy, 10/12/2026 1:10:32 AM Most political campaigns produce October surprises but James Talarico, the Democratic nominee for the open U.S. Senate seat in Texas, deserves the prize for the weirdest stunt in the current midterm cycle. He vanished from the campaign trail after a September 26 event and no voter from the Lone Star State saw him in-person again until October 9, when he suddenly showed up for 15 minutes at the Austin City Limits concert.
James Talarico’s 12-Day Campaign Absence Deserves Scrutiny in Texas The Texas Democrat says he was sidelined by the flu, but this does not explain why the candidate had not been seen since Sep. 26.

Democrat Donor Strike Comes Home to Roost

Democrat Donor Strike Comes Home to Roost They allowed the Republicans to enter the final midterm stretch with a huge cash advantage.
As the 2026 midterms rapidly approach, the consensus among the commentariat is that the Democrats will retake control of the House of Representatives and perhaps the Senate as well. This meeting of the “expert” minds is based primarily on the polls, despite their increasing tendency to underestimate GOP performance, and the fact that the president’s party usually loses seats in one or both houses of Congress in midterm elections.
Ketanji Brown Jackson Throws a Fit as Supreme Court Backs SAVE Voter Verification
Original Article Posted By: gaboy, 9/28/2026 12:48:07 AM The Supreme Court ruled on Friday that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) may use the SAVE (Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements) database for voter-verification purposes. Does the Press Understand the First Amendment?
Original Article Posted By: gaboy, 9/21/2026 11:59:41 AM The corporate "news" media is caterwauling because President Trump has banned CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House. He first announced the ban on Friday, and it became effective Saturday morning when "journalists" from all three outlets were denied access to the executive mansion. Predictably, they all insist that Trump is violating their First Amendment rights. This is where the confusion comes in.
Democrats’ Shameless Data Center Fearmongering
Despite numerous polls that purport to show the Democrats well positioned to win at least one house of Congress in November, their party’s brand is in the toilet and their positions on the issues are toxic to most voters. Consequently, they have been desperate to find something to run on other than their hatred of Donald Trump.
Does the Press Understand the First Amendment? It’s not very complicated but they can’t seem to decode what it means.

Democrats See MAGA Movement As a Peasants’ Revolt
The commentariat has made much lately of the fabled “diploma divide” in our politics and the propensity of “highly educated” voters to cast their ballots for Democrats. Their fascination with this statistic reveals a belief that the modern conservative movement – “America First,” “MAGA,” whatever you want to call it – is little more than a peasants’ revolt against the so-called elites who now dominate most of our institutions.
Don’t Buy Democrats’ “Farm Revolt” Narrative
As the midterm elections loom on the horizon, the Democrats and their corporate media mouthpieces are trotting out a new narrative that many of the Farm Belt and Great Plains states that President Trump swept in 2024 are going to vote Democrat in November. According to this theory, Democrats’ path to retaking the Senate could run through Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas – and they might just win a governor’s race or two there as well.
Why Election Polls Keep Getting It Wrong
Original Article Posted By: gaboy, 9/7/2026 3:01:10 AM If one peruses the major polling aggregators, the Democrats appear to have the upper hand as the midterm elections approach. The RCP average, for example, contains precisely one survey - the Harvard CAPS / Harris Poll - that shows the Republicans with a generic ballot lead.

Beware Biased Midterm Election Polls
Since 2016, when only one pollster correctly predicted that Donald Trump would defeat Hillary Clinton, voters have viewed the polls with considerable skepticism. 2026 is shaping up to be another year confirming that their distrust is justified. Aside from major victories for socialist candidates in high-profile Democrat primaries, perhaps the biggest story of this election season is a series of major polling misses.
The Left Has a Working-Class Problem
Original Article Posted By: gaboy, 8/17/2026 1:57:15 AM In a recent column published by the New Republic, Michael Tomasky asks, "Why don't lefty candidates do better among working-class voters?" This shouldn't be a mystery considering that Donald Trump's victory over Kamala Harris in 2024 was delivered by a multiracial working-class coalition. He accomplished that historic feat by building his campaign platform around the things working-class voters care about.

He accomplished that historic feat by building his campaign platform around the things working-class voters care about. The real mystery is why anyone is still struggling to understand this obvious fact.
Democrats Try to Walk Back “Woke One”
“Woke one was crazy.” Such was the proclamation from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on ABC’s This Week about far-left rhetoric that has alienated voters and cost Democrats dearly in recent elections. The statement was particularly shocking coming from Ocasio-Cortez given that she, perhaps more than any other single politician, is primarily responsible for mainstreaming “woke one” and jawboning the rest of the party to go along with her.
DNC Faces Catastrophic Donor Revolt
As the 2026 midterms approach, the consensus among the pundit class is that the Democrats will retake control of the House of Representatives and possibly the Senate. But an all-out revolt from the Democrat donor class may complicate that picture. Democrats are indeed leading in the polls and running with a strong historical precedent that says the president’s party almost always loses seats in the midterms.
The Marxist-Islamist Alliance Feeds On DSA Naïveté
Original Article Posted By: gaboy, 8/10/2026 1:10:47 AM When Abdul El-Sayed defeated "moderate" Rep. Haley Stevens (D-Mich.) to claim the Democratic nomination for the Senate in Michigan, far left members of the party and their allies in the corporate news media responded with unabashed elation. It is by no means clear, however, that these people understand the significance of El-Sayed's narrow victory.

Why Republicans May Defy Midterm History
Original Article Posted By: gaboy, 8/3/2026 12:34:59 AM As the midterms loom, the commentariat is confidently predicting that the Republican House majority is all but doomed. It is of course true that history does not portend a victorious outcome for the GOP. The president's party almost always loses House seats in midterm elections. Yet history has been confounded more than once during the Trump era. There are factors at play this year that may save the GOP majority.
Why Republicans May Defy Midterm History The GOP enjoys advantages in 2026 that the party in power doesn’t usually possess.

Mamdani & Champagne Socialist Allies Masquerade as Working-Class Heroes
The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) organization is making a serious play for control of the Democrat Party, advertising itself as a racially diverse, working-class movement. But a closer look at who actually makes up the DSA reveals not the workers it claims to represent, but affluent, mostly white professionals. Superficially, the DSA’s diversity talking points seem to be borne out by the most conspicuous DSA politicians—Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Sen.
The Senate Must Pass the Sunshine Protection Act
On July 14, something of a miracle occurred in the House of Representatives: Republicans and Democrats passed a bipartisan bill that will put an end to a biannual nationwide ritual that two-thirds of Americans hate. Specifically, in a 309-117 vote, they passed the “Sunshine Protection Act,” which will make daylight saving time permanent. If passed by the Senate, President Trump has committed to signing the bill as soon as it reaches his desk.
Appeals Court Hands Trump Big Win
Original Article Posted By: gaboy, 7/20/2026 2:08:36 AM In March of 2026 President Trump issued Executive Order 14399, "Ensuring Citizenship Verification and Integrity in Federal Elections," directing the U.S. Postal Service to create a rule whereby any state that intends to send mail-in ballots to voters must provide a list of those eligible to participate in federal elections or the USPS "shall not transmit" those ballots.
Mail-In-Voting: Appeals Court Hands Trump Big Win The court ruled that the USPS may require states to turn over voter rolls before mailing out ballots.

The obvious goal of the EO is to keep ballots from reaching people who are not eligible to vote.
Democrats’ Anti-Democracy Streak Continues Amid Platner Debacle
Late last week, scandal-ridden Graham Platner suspended his candidacy for U.S. Senate in Maine, touching off a mad dash to find his replacement on the Democrat ticket. This won’t be easy for the Democrat leadership of the Pine Tree State, but they do have one advantage – they won’t need to consult with any pesky primary voters about who will get the party’s Senate nomination.
Carville's Presidential History Lesson
Original Article Posted By: gaboy, 7/13/2026 1:57:55 AM On Saturday former Clinton advisor James Carville took to YouTube and delivered what purported to be a "Presidential History Lesson." It was a fairly typical Carvillian rant, yet quite revealing about how worried the Democratic establishment is about the damage the DSA insurgency is doing to their party.

On Saturday former Clinton advisor James Carville took to YouTube and delivered what purported to be a “Presidential History Lesson.” It was a fairly typical Carvillian rant, yet quite revealing about how worried the Democratic establishment is about the damage the DSA insurgency is doing to their party. He begins his diatribe with the 2000 election and insists that every Democrat loss from then on was caused by leftist attacks on the centrist candidates the party nominated. Thus, George W.
Gavin Newsom’s National Wealth Tax Would Be a Disaster for America
California Governor Gavin Newsom has become the latest high-profile liberal leader to call for a national wealth tax – confirming that this ill-conceived policy proposal will become a litmus test that 2028 contenders for the Democrat Party presidential nomination must pass. Ostensibly, Newsom has proposed this scheme as an alternative to a ballot measure the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) got approved to go before voters this November.
The Left's Ben Franklin 'Wealth Tax' Fiction

The Unholy Alliance of Radical Islam and Far-Left Extremism
When all three far-left congressional candidates endorsed by socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani defeated “moderate” Democrats in last Tuesday’s primary election, the corporate news media responded with undisguised glee. It isn’t clear, however, that they understand the significance of these results. These three primaries are the latest manifestation of the collaboration between radical Islam and the far left. This affiliation is neither incidental nor harmless.
Was Redistricting Enough To Save GOP House Majority?
Original Article Posted By: gaboy, 6/29/2026 2:04:08 AM In an ordinary midterm congressional election, the usual outcome is that the President's party loses seats in the House of Representatives. If history repeats itself in November, the Democrats may well flip enough seats to overcome the razor thin Republican majority and take control of the House.
Was Redistricting Enough To Save GOP House Majority? Republicans may have secured their greatest advantage before a single vote is cast, reshaping congressional maps in ways that could blunt the traditional midterm backlash.

The Democrat Plot to Californicate Our Republic
Earlier this month, an electoral horror show unfolded in California, with results taking more than a week to finalize amid widespread allegations of fraud – including at least one Democrat activist in Los Angeles who will plead guilty to paying homeless people to register to vote. While the votes are now finally counted (mostly, at least – Mendocino County somehow still has less than 70 percent of its vote in) Americans should not forget what they just witnessed.
California's Latino Vote Offers GOP Midterm Hope
Original Article Posted By: gaboy, 6/15/2026 1:13:43 AM All year the corporate media has produced story after story telling us that Latino voters are suffering buyer's remorse after voting for President Trump and Republicans in 2024. This, we are told, is due to the failure of the GOP to drive down prices and defeat inflation. This seems plausible, but California's gubernatorial primary produced no evidence that it is actually true.

Colombia Has One-Day Elections. Why Can’t California?
On May 31, a hotly contested presidential election was held in Colombia. Voting began at 7 a.m. on Election Day and closed at 4 p.m. About 23.3 million ballots were cast. By midnight, the results were known: Abelardo De La Espriella came out on top with 10,361,499 votes (43.74 percent), Iván Cepeda Castro came in second with 9,688,361 votes (40.90 percent), and the remaining 3.3 million votes were spread among 12 other candidates. Compare that to the primary elections held on June 2 in California.
