Managing secrets on Azure KeyVault with a Tagging strategy to perform automations

Implementing Evaluation platform on Azure Machine Learning
Problem Statement In our recent engagement, we helped a customer develop a Copilot chatbot solution using the Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pattern. One key benefit of this pattern is to be able to retrieve relevant data or documents before generating a response or answer. In order to ensure the accuracy of the system, we collect ground truth data to perform evaluation against. On the most basic level, a ground truth file contains a question-and-answer pair.

Debugging Java Dapr-enabled Apps in GitHub Codespaces To simplify the development and debugging of complex Java Dapr-enabled microservices we recommend leveraging Docker Compose to define all services including the Java Apps, each with its own Dapr sidecar, plus infrastructure/dependent services all these running in individual containers. Using a VS Code devcontainer with Docker-in-Docker support, enabling Java extensions, and installing Maven and OpenJDK.

Article by Kehua Lei, Caeley Moushegian, Yash Singh, David Lee In the one year since ChatGPT was released by OpenAI, tremendous advances in AI-led automation have raised fears of widespread unemployment in certain industries. A study using federal occupational data estimates that “80% of the U.S. workforce could have at least 10% of their work tasks affected by the introduction of LLMs, while approximately 19% of workers may see at least 50% of their tasks impacted” [1].

Update on Projects at Lions Park

Big Sky Indoor Aquatics & Recreation Center We'll start with the big one. There's still a big hole in the ground, but it's starting to be filled in. Give farmers the "right to repair"
When you go to the local garage to get your car fixed you might not trust the assessment. But nothing stops you from going down the street to get a second opinion from another mechanic. You can shop around for the best quality and the lowest price before paying for an expensive repair. When it came to their equipment, farmers used to be able to do that too. But today, they don't have many choices when they buy tractors and other important gear from companies like John Deere.

Eddie Murphy inducted into NAACP Image Awards Hall of Fame
NEW YORK (AP) — After a pandemic year that shuttered movie theaters and upended the movie business, Academy Awards nominations on Monday went to two female filmmakers for the first time, to a historically diverse slate of actors and to David Fincher's lead-nominee “Mank,” a traditional kind of Oscar contender — an old Hollywood homage — in very untraditional year.

R.I.P. Innovation Theater
2020 has not been kind to Broadway, the West End, or corporate innovation theater. All three kinds of performances were expensive to mount. And all three were abruptly shut down as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. I’m rooting for the quick (and safe) return of Broadway, the West End, and regional theaters around the world. But I think innovation theater is as dead as the title character of “Hamilton” at the end of that show. And that’s a good thing.
