What was your first job as a journalist?
Staff writer for a small weekly in Noble, Okla. My first newspaper job was throwing them from my bike for The Daily Ardmoreite.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
To provide important, impactful, and useful information accurately, honestly, and with integrity.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Computer, laptop, phone, word processing, Photoshop (or Photopea), InDesign, Adobe, Word Press, among others.
What's your favorite social network?
I guess Facebook since that is what I use most.
Why did you become a journalist?
I had an interest in writing and newspapers from an early age. I remember the JFK assassination edition of The Daily Oklahoman.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Coverage at The Paris News of a horrific murder of a young lady. First Texas DNA case resulting in a death sentence.
What's your favorite drink?
Weller and Coke.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
The gym.
