FARGO — For a second straight year, April opened with snowfall in the Fargo-Moorhead area. According to the National Weather Service, Fargo received 2.7 inches of snow by noon Thursday, the first round of what is predicted to be a one-two punch of snow. The region is under a Winter Storm Warning from 1 p.m. Friday to 7 p.m. Saturday, with the Weather Service calling for 6 to 12 inches of snow across a broad range of eastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota.
