Are emerging market allocations becoming an indirect AI bet?
Emerging markets investors are once again confronting a familiar challenge: market concentration. But while the phenomenon itself is not new, the current iteration is both more extreme and structurally different from previous cycles. This has important implications for portfolio construction, diversification, performance and risk oversight, particularly for large institutional investors such as superannuation funds.

Carl Hayman leads the haka before the Tri-Nations encounter with Australia at Eden Park in ly 2007.Jeff Brass / Photosport He lives near Ōpunake, in Taranaki. I'd suggested picking up a car at New Plymouth and driving to his little corner of New Zealand. He wouldn’t hear of it: “I will pick you up at the airport.” So on a bright and clear Monday morning in April, I am waiting for the chauffeur who was once rugby’s greatest tight-head prop.

New test methods with higher throughput and broader capabilities will help make ethanol production faster, more efficient, and more productive. By By David Walsh Apr 30, 2026 When most people think of corn, they think of going to the movies – or here in 2026, streaming Netflix and popping their own snack at home. Some might also think of fast-food tacos, a favorite breakfast cereal, or even one of those salty snacks that was colored bright orange until recently.

Play Video PlayBack to start Show CaptionsFullscreen Are we seeing real progress in operationalizing autonomous networks? A few weeks after #MWC26, that’s the question I keep coming back to. At the Ribbon booth in Barcelona, what stood out to me wasn’t just the ambition around autonomous networks… It was the clarity around execution. Ribbon is tackling one of the hardest challenges in telecom: multivendor complexity.

The Unraveling Right
It turns out that Charlie Kirk was the glue holding MAGA together. Almost five months after the assassination of the 31-year-old activist, warfare has erupted on the right, with establishment conservatives from Ted Cruz, Ben Shapiro, and the writers at National Review fretting about conspiracy theory-minded antisemites in their ranks.

The Best Sports Books of 2025
Thank you for joining me to discuss this year’s shortlist for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year. What were you looking for, when you were looking for the best sports books of 2025? That’s a good question. We don’t set out the rules, as such, but the general consensus among the judges is: authenticity, good writing, and the idea that a good book should be able to grip you, even if it is about a sport that is not your favourite sport, or even a sport you don’t know much about at all.

He was a social-media star with millions of followers across various platforms, and built the largest right-wing youth organization in the United States, Turning Point USA. Defending Liberalism Against Itself – Timothy Fuller
A new edition of David Walsh’s classic book reminds us that liberalism has not failed, even if it faces a serious crisis. It is particularly noteworthy that David Walsh’s The Growth of the Liberal Soul, originally published nearly thirty years ago and now released with a new introduction, anticipated virtually all the criticisms of the liberal tradition asserted by Alasdair MacIntyre, Patrick Deneen, and the many others who claim liberalism has failed.
