TripleW can cause significant conformational changes Several crystal structures have been published of G3BP1 NTF2 in its apo form and complexed with peptides; however, no mutant crystal structures have been published. Given the dramatic reduction in complex formation as seen with the F33W and TripleW G3BP1 mutants, we wanted to determine the stereochemical cause of the defect. A crystal structure of G3BP1 NTF2 (1-139) TripleW was determined to a resolution of 2.36 Å.
