2. Materials and Methods 2.1. Reagents The L. japonica variety, “Huangguan No. 1” (Lianjiang, China) was used. Indicated enzyme-linked immune sorbent assay (ELISA) kits (Wuhan Chundu Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Wuhan, China) were used to determine the concentrations of fasting insulin (FINS), interleukin (IL)-6, tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), nuclear factor-κ-gene binding (NF-κB), IL-10, and glucagon-likepeptide-1 (GLP-1).
