The question is whether brand can help solve the organizational problems that determine growth, profitability, customer trust, internal alignment, and enterprise value. That is the right question. Brand should not sit outside the economics of the business. It should help improve them. For many organizations, brand strategy has long been treated as a clarifying exercise.
