Hello, everyone! Welcome back to the NEWS digest, unless this is your first time here. This is an aggregation of all the top comics and comics-related stories that caught my attention that I thought you might enjoy reading. I post these two weeks after every regular newsletter. Lots of exciting news for fans of comics new and old this month! Let’s get the dopamine hits of nostalgia out of the way first.

Happy New Year, everyone! I promise that will be the last time I say that. We had a pretty good turnout for a night with subzero temperatures (with wind chill). Thanks again to all who made it! I wasn’t sure what to expect when I arrived at an empty bar, but we had a lively discussion and ended the night trading video game recommendations. I enjoyed this book so much, I was actually a bit nervous about other people not liking it. Lol Thankfully, this was mostly misplaced.

I’ve been teasing this project for some time and it’s finally here! A bit of background before the comic itself: I had originally pitched this story to an anthology that was to have been built around the theme of “Memory.” If I recall correctly, the full call for submissions was for one-page comics about someone realizing they’d forgotten something.
