Leipsic dominates Edgerton, advances to Division VII regional semifinals

HAMLER, Ohio (WLIO) — Leipsic is heading to the regional semifinals after a dominant performance in the Division VII Northwest 2 District championship game. The Vikings shut out Edgerton 10-0 on Saturday in Hamler to secure a district title and continue their postseason run. Leipsic's defense came through in the opening inning when pitcher Aaron Hazelton stranded the bases loaded, striking out back-to-back Bulldogs to keep the game scoreless. The Vikings broke through in the second inning.
