VALDOSTA — The rain came down at Martin Stadium, but it did nothing to slow down the Vikings. With 332 rushing yards and another amazing defensive performance, Lowndes blew out Winter Haven (Fla.) 44-0 on Friday night. They stay undefeated and now have four shut outs this season. Lowndes got off to a fast start. The Vikings drove down the field on their first possession and ended the drive with Malik Roman running it in 3 yards to give them a 7-0 lead.

VALDOSTA – It’s been almost two weeks since Lowndes last played Friday night football, but the Vikings will take on their second Florida team of the season at Martin Stadium this week. Lowndes faces off against Winter Haven (Fla.) at 8 p.m. Friday – the last game for the Vikings before they begin region play. The Vikings come into this game undefeated with a record of 5-0 while Winter Haven travels up to Valdosta with a record of 3-2.

VALDOSTA — Homecoming brings plenty of festivities to Martin Stadium Friday night, but Lowndes head coach Adam Carter wants his team focused on something much simpler — getting better. The Vikings (4-0) enter Friday’s 8 p.m. matchup against Long County (1-2), having shut out Blanche Ely 42-0 last week. Long County comes to the Concrete Palace at 1-2 after holding off Beach 34-32 for its first win of the season. For Lowndes, the matchup presents a change of pace.
