Some minor flooding is still possible on roads this afternoon until the low moves farther east and away from New England. Remember, turn around, don’t drown. We’ve started this Tuesday with quite a bit of rain over parts of southern New England as an area of low pressure approaches from the south. In fact, periods of heavy rain are possible through the early morning commute today in Greater Boston, especially over South Shore and the Cape. A Flood Watch is posted through this afternoon for southeastern Mass, Rhode Island and Connecticut where a few communities could see between one and three inches of rain.
