My first full-time job as a journalist was as a reporter with The Register in Shrewsbury, N.J. I covered four communities in Monmouth County.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
I started using a typewriter in fifth grade due to my poor penmanship. I took one typing class in eighth grade.
How is social media changing news?
On the one hand, it gives us a way to get news out faster. It also makes it easier to interact with the public.
