ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - A man was arrested in June after deputies said he tried to hide 20 guns and ammunition in a shed from law enforcement. According to the Anderson County Sheriff's Office, in late June, deputies were called to a reported incident of domestic violence at a home on Harrington Road in Anderson. The victim told deputies they had been assaulted in their home and ran to a neighbor's house where they borrowed a cell phone to call 911.

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - State law enforcement agents have charged a former Upstate police chief and police officer with misconduct in office. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division reported on Tuesday the arrests of former Belton Police Chief James Ross Richey and former Honea Path Police Officer Brantley Keith Creel on charges of misconduct in office and assault and battery.
