BCC suspends EMS Program

Brunswick Community College has suspended its emergency medical sciences/services (EMS) program, the college confirmed last week. In a statement to The Brunswick Beacon, Brunswick Community College (BCC) confirmed its EMS program has been “temporarily suspended.” The college did not provide a reason for the program suspension.

New member appointed to Brunswick County Planning Board

The Brunswick County Board of Commissioners last week appointed a new member to the Brunswick County Planning Board who will replace a sitting member whose term expires at the end of June. During its Monday, May 18 meeting, county commissioners voted unanimously to approve the nomination of Robert “Bud” Needham to the District 5 seat on the Brunswick County Planning Board.
