Andrew Nusca’s Biography

Andrew Nusca is an author, editor, host, journalist, and media executive who aims to surprise, delight, and engage audiences.

He is best known as a longtime top editor at FORTUNE, where he led digital editorial operations (website, newsletters, social media) and co-chaired Brainstorm Tech, the business icon's annual, invite-only technology summit in Aspen. He most recently served as the first-ever executive editor at Morning Brew, the Insider Inc-owned media startup, where he led and expanded its portfolio of consumer brands, including its eponymous flagship title.

His work has appeared in GQ, Men's Vogue, Money, New York, New York Daily News, Popular Mechanics, Time, and others. He has appeared on camera for ABC, Bloomberg TV, CBS, CNBC, Fox News, and more. The 2015 Fortune cover story "The Age of Unicorns," which he edited, marked an iconic moment in Silicon Valley history. His pyrotechnic 2016 onstage interview of WeWork CEO Adam Neumann at Fortune Brainstorm Tech was featured in the closing credits of the 2022 Apple TV+ series "WeCrashed." His 2016 and 2017 profiles of Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, respectively, are definitive accounts of two tech industry titans.

He has served as a judge for the American Society of Magazine Editors' National Magazine Awards ("Ellies") and the Deadline Club Awards, the annual competition of the New York City chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. He has been a guest lecturer at the University of Southern California, Villanova University, and Arcadia University and taught a graduate seminar on the disruption of the publishing industry by technology companies at New York University. He has presented on the future of journalism at the Klein News Innovation Camp hosted by Temple University in Philadelphia.

He is a graduate of New York University (where he was news editor of the school's daily Washington Square News) and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. After building his media career in New York City, the Philadelphia native now resides in metropolitan Los Angeles with his wife, son, and two French bulldogs.
