Edward Keenan has lived in Toronto all his life, and has made its people, politics, and culture the subject of his writing for more than a decade at various publications. His book "Some Great Idea: Good Neighbourhoods, Crazy Politics, and the Invention of Toronto" explores Toronto's history and identity crisis in the years since amalgamation.
