FORKS TWP., Pa. | A Connecticut man told police that he knew it was wrong to trespass in a Forks Township home last week, but a higher power made him do it. Authorities charged Michael N. Girgis, of New Hartford, Conn., with a felony count of criminal trespass and a misdemeanor count of stalking, following his arrest Friday evening outside a Hickory Drive home.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. | Investigators allege an Allentown woman put down a $100 deposit and agreed on a payment plan for the murder of her husband. Allentown police charged Claudia Carrion, of South Delaware Street, with a single count of criminal solicitation to commit homicide after she allegedly tried to hire an undercover detective. District Judge Donna Butler arraigned the 44-year-old early Friday morning, setting bail at $500,000.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. | Investigators allege that an Allentown man opened fire on a home minutes after fighting someone there, shooting two people who had just arrived at the house. Allentown police charged Devin K. Rarick, of North Sixth Street, with homicide and attempted homicide in connection with the May 10 shooting outside a Lehigh Street home that left Erik Mondragon dead. Authorities arrested the 19-year-old on Wednesday, and he was arraigned early Thursday morning.
