It’s been a great week for my middle-grade/young YA modern-day fantasy adventure Fireboy, and for my podcast, The Worldshapers. First came the news that Fireboy is a finalist for Best Young Adult Novel in this year’s Aurora Awards, Canada’s top science fiction and fantasy awards (fan-nominated and voted on like the Hugos in the States).
