So far in her early media career Eelemarni has worked for IndigenousX, NITV, interned at the Sydney Morning Herald during the Voice Referendum and was the first Junior Indigenous Affairs Reporter at the Australian Associated Press.

She is a former 2025 Scott Trust Cadet at Guardian Australia.
