NFL Sleeper Top Picks & Plays for Week 11 Monday Night Football Featuring the Eagles & Chiefs
We’re almost through Week 11, but we have one final game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs before we can close the chapter and move into Week 12. As always, this week with some big surprises, including a New York Giants win over the Washington Commanders, a HUGE game by Calvin Ridley and Trevor Lawrence, and the Denver Broncos won a close one against the Passtronaut, Joshua Dobbs.
NFL Week 11 Sunday Night Football Showdown Playbook: Minnesota Vikings vs. Denver Broncos DFS Picks
We wrap up the Sunday portion of Week 11 with what should be a fairly competitive game between two teams fighting for a playoff spot and riding some impressive winning streaks. This inter-conference matchup may not see an extremely high game total, but the spread has Denver favored by just a field goal so it should be competitive. After starting the season 1-5, the Denver Broncos have won three straight games and it’s not like they’re beating teams that are tanking.
EFE OBADA: 'Brotherly Shove' is dangerous, planning for Jalen Hurts, why Myles Garrett is a 'freak' and my verdict on NFL season so far | talkSPORT
Washington Commanders defensive end Efe Obada writes exclusively for talkSPORT.com. This week’s 14-7 defeat for the Washington Commanders against the New York Giants was a tough one to take for the whole team. Another win would have been nice to build the momentum we built after the Atlanta Falcons game, but it’s still early in the season and so much football to be played. For me personally, I’m so happy to be activated, off Injured Reserve, and have the chance to contribute to this team again.
Efe Obada: Washington Commanders confidence, Zach Wilson defence, Buffalo Bills vs Jacksonville Jaguars in London and Taylor Swift fever in NFL
The Washington Commanders may have lost to the Philadelphia Eagles, but as a team, it actually gives us so much confidence as the season progresses. The Eagles are Super Bowl contenders and we weren’t expected to win that game, but we showed ourselves, and everyone else, the standard we can play at. Last year, we were the team that ended their winning streak, and we’ll have another chance to beat them again this season.
EFE OBADA: Aaron Rodgers' injury, facing Travis Kelce, Tottenham NFL agreement and Washington Commanders' 2-0 start
Exclusive Column British NFL star and Washington Commanders defensive end, Efe Obada, writes exclusively for talkSPORT. The Washington Commanders are 2-0 and it was an emotional rollercoaster watching us beat the Denver Broncos on the sidelines on Sunday. I’m focused on my recovery but I’m itching to get back on the field! We beat Arizona in the season opener, but people were talking it down because it was “only” the Cardinals.
EFE OBADA: What it's like facing Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady GOAT comparisons, Washington Commanders hopes and my Super Bowl pick
British NFL star, and Washington Commanders defensive end, Efe Obada writes exclusively for talkSPORT on the upcoming season. This is my sixth year on an active NFL roster, and ninth in the league as a whole, which feels surreal to say. When I first came into the league, everyone was harping on about how the NFL stands for ‘Not For Long’. You end up being around these guys that are high draft picks and get paid, but then one day they aren’t there.
In My Own Words: Efe Obada
by Efe Obada I was born in Nigeria, but I moved to Holland to live with my Mum when I was about eight years old. I lived with my Mum for about two years and then at the age of ten I was brought to England by a stranger that was supposed to look after me and my sister. They did not. They abandoned us in the streets of East London and left my sister and I to fend for ourselves.
Obada survives human trafficking, now a Panther
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Defensive end Efe Obada plays like a man fighting for survival when he steps on the football field. Given his life story, it's understandable. The Nigerian-born Obada says he was a victim of human trafficking at the age of 10. He said he and his older sister were abandoned in the streets of London, England.
Panthers’ Efe Obada has a remarkable story of surviving homelessness as a child to make the NFL
As teams around the NFL pared their rosters down to 53 players on the league’s cut-down day, a lot of NFL stories are going to hit a bump in the road, while others move another step forward in pursuit of their dreams. No player is likely to have a better story than 26-year-old Carolina Panthers defensive end Efe Obada, who has survived a lot more than cut day just to get here. According to NFL UK, Obada was abandoned in London as a 10-year-old and fell in with gangs as a teenager.
