The deadline for filing your taxes is now less than a month away. Top executives have left the IRS and about 6,700 probationary employees have lost their jobs under the Trump administration. Despite the turnover, tax professionals say they are not seeing any problems with people filing their taxes or getting refunds. Experts do fear more reductions in the workforce could have an impact. NJ officials say that they are fixing more potholes this season than they did last year.

In the Fairhill section of Philadelphia, firefighters put out a one-alarm fire early this morning. Fire officials tell us that when they arrived on scene, a total of six people were at the house. It’s been confirmed that one child and one woman is dead. One man is being treated at Temple Hospital and one child is in critical condition at Saint Christopher’s Hospital. PennDOT and the Pennsylvania State Police are spreading the word about safety during Saint Patrick’s Day.
