Po tom, co léta žila ve stínech, teď přijímá novou práci jako chráněnka Laury Westové, vlivné knižní bloggerky a ženy uznávaného spisovatele. Lauřiny kontakty by mohly Graye splnit její autorské sny. Laura ale také nemá tak dokonalý život, jak se na první pohled zdá. Ve skutečnosti jí krachuje manželství.

Haunting is the word that came to mind, from the moment I first saw the cover art for The Caretakers. Let it be known that first impressions are important, no matter what people prefer to believe. The contrast of a woman in yellow over the verdant green undergrowth, with mist hanging over the ghostly house, hints a brooding atmosphere. I fell in love with the cover as much as this book, in case you couldn’t tell.
