Ve vlastním stínu přehled
Každý spisovatel má svůj příběh. Některý je krvavější než jiný. Cílevědomá autorka Graye Templetonová udělá cokoli, aby unikla vzpomínkám na děsivý zločin z dětství. Po tom, co léta žila ve stínech, teď přijímá novou práci jako chráněnka Laury Westové, vlivné knižní bloggerky a ženy uznávaného spisovatele. Lauřiny kontakty by mohly Graye splnit její autorské sny. Laura ale také nemá tak dokonalý život, jak se na první pohled zdá. Ve skutečnosti jí krachuje manželství.
Book Review: The Caretakers by Eliza Maxwell

The contrast of a woman in yellow over the verdant green undergrowth, with mist hanging over the ghostly house, hints a brooding atmosphere. I fell in love with the cover as much as this book, in case you couldn’t tell.

This novel is an epic multi layered masterpiece with two stories sweeping and threading across each other, each strand so absorbing and brilliantly written. It's one you can't stop reading. “Where you headed to?” Apollo asked as he grabbed a broom. Henry didn’t know what to say to that. “I don’t really know. Nowhere, I guess.” The other man raised a brow at him. “Nowhere, huh? A man going nowhere’s usually intent on leaving somewhere behind, in my experience. Where you from?” Apollo nodded, like that was the answer he’d expected. “You got a Texas look about you. See lots of Texans come through here.
