Homebuilder Marc Nevin said if he had known the community outrage his planned demolition of the Stockton House in Winston-Salem’s Reynolds Park neighborhood would have caused, he never would have purchased it. Nevin, the owner of Nevin Homebuilders, purchased the Richard G. and Hortense Stockton House at 1020 Kent Road along with Geoff Mitchell of Mitchco Custom Builders for $1.4 million in March.
