Pumpkin Spice Banana Bread
I have to apologize to you guys, I’m getting asked Ella respectfully where tf are the pumpkin recipes??? I got overwhelmed with the amount of pumpkin recipes that were coming in September when it was still summer and kind of became contrarian and instead stuck with all tomato recipes until the very last second, but I am leaning in now. Late to the party but hopefully not too late. It’s pumpkin time baby. the ultimate baked good. a combination of my favorite things—pumpkin loaf x banana bread.
Green Goddess Chicken Salad
I love herbs. So much. I dreaaam about one day having an herb garden. A full garden of course, but would love to start with herbs. It’s so magical being able to go into your backyard and smell the rosemary, pick some basil, water some mint & cilantro. Ugh I can smell it right now.
How to Prevent Food Waste
NY State's Food Date Labeling Act Hi friends! As you know, finding fun and creative ways to reduce food waste is something that is really important to me. So when I had the privilege of meeting Danny DeBare last week, who is advocating for NY State’s Food Date Labeling Act, I knew I had to share everything I learned with you. First and foremost: 40% of the food produced in the United States gets thrown out and ends up in landfills. 40%!!!! This is insane.
Mint Chocolate Chunk Ice Cream
Recipes cooling me off in this heat I was literally so excited when I found chocolate mint at the farmers market OH MY GOSH. I discovered it last year, it’s just a different variety of mint (I believe a mix between spearmint & peppermint) that has a rich chocolate scent. I couldn’t believe it when I first smelled & tasted it. Literally is like mint chocolate ice cream. It is just sooo fresh and creamy. So, naturally, my favorite way to use it is to make mint chocolate chip (for me, chunk) ice cream.

Spring Cleaning Your Closet
My spring cleaning has commenced, and other than the kitchen, the first place I like to start is the closet. my first outfit of spring: organic undies, dress, coat, shoes, bag, finally got to bring back out the warm clothes :) My brain works out of sight out of mind, so when I shove things away for the winter, I completely forget about them. But I know in the back of my subconscious it is bothering me that they are forgotten and not organized.
How to Survive Winter
Winter is coming. I notice that when people talk about winter, they often do with a looming sense of dread. Once the holiday sparkle dies down it becomes a time that we just need to get through. But what if we stopped rushing through and actually sat in winter, allowed ourselves to be present and intentional, and instead perceived it as an essential time of rest for our bodies & minds. finding the color in winter In Western culture winter is known as flu season.
May Seasonal Recipes
Good morning beautifuls! Happy Sunday :) Today we are turning some of my favorite May seasonal produce into delicious recipes. Seasonal eating has changed my life. It is funny how the simplest, back to basics, practices rooted in traditional wisdom, sometimes feel the most groundbreaking. Slow living, listening to our bodies, and living in rhythm with nature and the seasons aren’t a trend — they’re ways of being, deeply rooted in indigenous knowledge and ancestral wisdom.
Spring Cleaning Guide
There is something about the sun starting to shine, the flowers beginning to bloom, the leaves starting to grow that just makes me feel reborn. I love a fresh start. A new beginning. An opportunity for positive change and awakening — and that is exactly what the Spring inspires. When I listed out my Spring Intentions — one of the main ones was A clean space for a clean mind: Cleaning to me can be therapeutic.
Becoming our Best Selves
Hi friends!! Sitting here sippin’ on my morning coffee — and if I am being honest with you, feeling a bit anxious. Not in the way where I am letting it overtake the excitement and overwhelming gratitude I feel for these new changes that are happening, but I am feeling a bit impatient to get my life in order. As much as nomadic living and spontaneity has it’s perks, I am glad that portion is over with.
