I have an Underwood Typewriter on my desk right now. I use it occasionally for my creative writing.
How is social media changing news?
Social media lets us have more open discussions about the news. People today are able to tweet out their thoughts on any piece of news.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
Being a journalist means telling real stories. Journalist means showing a new face in the world.

Why did you become a journalist?
My biggest role model was Atticus Finch. When getting a law degree wasn't for me, I decided fight for justice with a pen.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My Wintergirl piece for Bustle. It’s been a subject I wanted to write about for years and the response has been great.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Anytime.
What's your favorite drink?
Cherry Coke.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
The bookshop, watching movies, drinking way too much coffee.
