This was my full-length submission for a compilation article on Kid A’s 20th anniversary in 2020, questions posed by the very talented Mary Varvaris. Why does Kid A matter now? Musically, Kid A is a momentary cliffside dream — trapped in a temporary lull, only to be shocked awake, violently. Even in its moments of peace, there’s a looming danger — a sense of impending doom.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

To offer up your two cents, or present a brand new point of view, maybe - but truth is the heart of it all.

Why did you become a journalist?

Writing has always been a part of me, from my poem about why I love the colour orange at age 7, to dissecting bits of literature at A-Level.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

No, but I did in primary school! The only memory I have is trying so hard to format the whole thing in the I.T. suite (baby designer brain).
