After 32 years serving the community, Pizza Cafe founder and owner James Holton is retiring, but longtime customers can expect the restaurant's traditions to continue under new local ownership. Stephen and Kristy Fore, owners of Dugan’s Pub in Pinehurst and Taglio’s in Southern Pines, will take over Pizza Cafe in Olmstead Village on June 29. The couple said they jumped at the opportunity when they learned Holton planned to retire.
