Mostly dry and nice for Friday

After an unsettled start to our Thursday, things have calmed down a little this afternoon and evening. A very stray shower is possible before sundown. Beyond that, we will see a partly cloudy sky with some patchy fog possible overnight. For Friday, I think it will be a nice day. Temperatures will be just a touch warmer than today (mid 80s) with a mix of sun and clouds. A couple of weather models say a few showers are possible especially in the afternoon.

Widespread showers coming early Thursday

After a beautiful Tuesday, today has been a little more on the cloudy side as we are heading toward a more active next 12 to 24 hours. Look for widespread showers to move in after midnight and linger through much of Thursday morning. Rainfall won't be too heavy with this, but isolated spots of heavier rain are possible. And any thunderstorm we see will likely be west of the Bluegrass region, but could contain strong wind gusts.

High heat and humidity for one more day

The weekend thus far has been a bit more active than what we like to see. Spotty to scattered thunderstorms have developed in an area of high heat and humidity in northeastern KY. As we head toward late evening, these will continue to fizzle. The night will be more quiet, but stay warm. High temperatures today have hit the mid 90s so I think we won't have any problem doing that again tomorrow. Sunday will start dry and sunny and that will cause us to warm up fast.
