ROCKFORD, Ill. (WREX) — Several Rockford Beef-A-Roo locations closed early Thursday and remained closed Friday after employees say they were told their paychecks were delayed. A former Beef-A-Roo general manager says Thursday night, they were given notice their paychecks would be delayed, and the company had been bought, forcing many of them to walk out and for locations to close.
