Remembering the 2011 Massachusetts tornado, 15 years later The Monson Police Department states that New England Central Railroad will be working on the Hospital Road crossing as part of their railroad crossing rehab project.

MONSON, Mass. (WWLP) – A portion of Hospital Road in Monson will be closed beginning on Sunday for railroad construction. The Monson Police Department states that New England Central Railroad will be working on the Hospital Road crossing as part of their railroad crossing rehab project. Due to this, Hospital Road will be closed from Sunday at 7 a.m. until Monday at 7 p.m. Residents living west of the Hospital Road crossing will need to use Upper Palmer Road.
