Emma Wilkinson’s Biography

I have worked as a freelance journalist for more than a decade specialising in biosciences, medicine, and health policy.

Before choosing the freelance route, I was a manuscript editor at The Lancet Oncology, clinical reporter at Pulse, and health reporter at BBC News online.

I write news and features for a wide range of outlets - print and digital - including medical journals and B2B publications.

I co-host the Freelancing for Journalists podcast and am co-author of the Freelancing for Journalists book.
