A Review on Navigating Sustainable Naval Design: LCA and Innovations in Energy and Fuel Choices
In the study conducted by Trillos et al. [55], an LCA was conducted on a Ro-Pax ferry operating between Kirkwall and Shapinsay in the Orkney Islands, Scotland. The analysis, adopting a cradle-to-end-of-use approach, covered the entire construction of the ship, including its structure, power system, and the utilized fuel.
