In the last three weeks, Colt Emerson has made his MLB debut with the Seattle Mariners, notched his first MLB hit with a home run, hit his first career triple, hit three more home runs, and made some stellar plays at third base. Emerson still can’t legally buy a beer yet, but his scorching first three weeks in the league are a big part of the Mariners getting their season on track with winning streaks, home run-fueled comebacks, and walk-off victories at home.

The hottest topic in Mariners-ville the last two weeks has been the decision by the Mariners front office to combine the starts of Luis Castillo and Bryce Miller into a “piggyback” start. Both pitchers have had their struggles so far in 2026, so the idea of letting each pitcher throw 4-5 innings at most using maximum effort seems like a pretty good solution on paper.

Greetings! Inspired by posters Cleavertime and Telekinectic Sasquath, I threw this Breaking Bad prompt out into THE FEED and foLLks did not disappoint. But first, if you haven’t seen Breaking Bad yet, you may want to skip this one just in case of spoilers, I suppose. But, it’s a great show if you like gritty crime dramas about difficult men, or if you liked any of the GOAT’d X-Files episodes that BB creator Vince Gilligan wrote.
