The Last Dinner Party continue to prove that they are simply the best as they put on a show stopping performance at a very sold out Roadrunner in Boston. The band, hailing from London, England, is a breath of fresh air. They released their second album last year called From The Pyre, and it is a pure work of art. Fans were in for a treat in Boston as they got to hear songs from the new album live and they go just as hard live as they do on the studio version.

Snail Mail returned to Boston for the first time in awhile for a jam packed night at Big Night Live in support of her recently released album Ricochet. Fronted by Lindsey Jordan, Snail Mail has always put on a fantastic show. Jordan is one of indie rock’s most compellingly understated performers, she doesn’t command the stage in a traditional sense. There’s no theatricality, no exaggerated gestures. Instead, she stands slightly angled toward her guitar, letting the songs do the work.

Canada’s best, bbno$ made his way to Boston for a very sold out show at MGM Music Hall Fenway for his Internet Explorer Tour. If anyone knows how to hype up a crowd and put on a show that feels like a high energy club atmosphere it is definitely bbno$. Since releasing his latest self titled album in October of last year, bbno$ has been on a tear and there’s no stopping him anytime soon. Boston always shows up for bbno$ and this time was even more special.
