What was your first job as a journalist?

One of the very first times I thought "I'm doing real reporting!" was when I was asked to review a science-themed play for a magazine.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Once, when I was six. There was an electronic typewriter in my dad's office, which he let me play with when I visited him at work one day.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Realistically, on a train.
