Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes! I tinkered a lot with this old typewriter in middle school. I remember it was fascinating because it had a backspace button!

How is social media changing news?

Not for the better, I'll tell you that much.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Google Docs and Google Sheets are my go-to's for drafting and making tables/graphs. For Purple Row all of our articles are done on Chorus.

What's your favorite social network?

They're all just awful.

Who do you wish followed you?

Why did you become a journalist?

Because I love writing, especially writing about baseball.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

No

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Write for yourself. Write to make yourself happy. Write what YOU want to write about.

What's your favorite drink?

Water. I am an extremely boring person.
