Wayne County Auditor Mark Hoelscher says he is now running for county commissioner against Brad Dwenger, who he says led the poor treatment. Over the past several weeks, Hoelscher and the council have debated his hiring of a new payroll clerk amid "turmoil" within the auditor's office.
