I worked designing advertising while studying journalism and on finishing my final exam moved up to the daily newsroom as a cub reporter.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes... I do miss it sometimes... I still keep one for sentimental reasons.
How is social media changing news?
A greater demand for instant updates and it has detrimentally affected fact-checking while allowing greater transparency.
