1 Introduction Lipomas, composed of mature adipocytes, are the most common benign soft tissue tumors. Although lipomas can arise in any location containing fat tissue, their occurrence in the oral cavity is relatively infrequent, accounting for approximately 1%–4% of all benign oral tumors [1, 2]. Within the oral cavity, the buccal mucosa is the most frequently affected site, followed by the tongue and the floor of the mouth [3, 4].
